About the Event

This year the BFFS Scotland Spring Event brings you a superb line up of films, the AGM and an important workshop to discuss the future of Film Societies and Community Cinemas and where BFFS Scotland fits into the mix. The venue is the lovely Glasgow Film Theatre , 12 Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RB (just off Sauchiehall Street).

By Train or Metro

If arriving into Glasgow Queen Street Station: Exit onto Buch anan Street and walk uphill turning left onto Sauchihall Street. Rose Street will be the 5th turning on the right hand side.

If arriving into Glasgow Central Station: Exit onto Hope Street and walk uphill until Hope Street meets Sauchiehall Street. Turn onto Sauchihall Street and Rose Street will be the 3rd turning on your right.

By Bus

If arriving into Buchanan Bus Station: Exit onto Killermont Street and walk towards the centre of Edinburgh until the road becomes Renfrew Street. Follow Renfrew Street until the 6th turning on the right, which will be Rose Street.

By Car

The nearest motorway junction is the M8 Junction 17 which is 0.4 miles (0.6 km) from the venue but please beware that Glasgow operates a partial one-w ay system. There are a number of local car parks including:

• Sauchiehall Street Car park
  • Bath Street, Glasgow, G2
  • Minimum costs for parking: £0.20 (15 mins)

• Cambridge Street Car park
  • Cambridge Street at Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow , G23
  • Minimum costs for parking: £0.20 (15 m ins )
