About Montrose Picture House

The Montrose Picture House is a not for profit organisation, run by a team of volunteers showing films at the former St Andrew’s Church, George Street, Montrose. The church is now known as The Mitchell Centre. The venue has a unique auditorium and tiered church pews and has been dubbed ‘Scotland’s Cinema Paradiso’ by the Scottish press. Organisers advise filmgoers to bring a cushion, as the pews are hard!

Ticket Prices

For the evening film shows, tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £4 concessions and

include a complimentary glass of red or white wine (for over 18s) or a soft drink

alternative.

The children’s shows are priced at just £10 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children, or £3 (all admissions). Tickets for the children’s show include free popcorn. Drinks will be available for sale at 50p each.
